HOW THE TOUR WORKS
Everything a facility needs to know before joining — schedule, format, what it costs, where the money goes, and how prizes are paid. Open to feedback.

Every fee is listed on this page. Software costs are passed through at cost and shown separately from anything we charge.
Player-funded prize pool
The pot grows with the field. More players, bigger payout. Paying positions are published before a season starts — nothing is drawn at random.
Your bay revenue stays yours
What you charge members for bay time is entirely up to you. It goes to your facility directly and never passes through us.
Season schedule
2026–27Seasons run through the months when outdoor play stops. Registration closes ahead of each season so the field is locked before week one.

Full course schedules are published two weeks before each season starts. Dates for the 2026–27 seasons are confirmed closer to registration opening.
Format
Every league runs on GSPro and is scored through Simulator Golf Tour. Settings are locked and identical across all facilities in the same league, so scores are directly comparable no matter whose bay they were shot in.
- One course per event. Published to every facility before the event opens.
- A two-week play window. Members play on their own schedule inside it, in whichever bay suits.
- Scores post automatically. Rounds flow from GSPro through SGT to the leaderboards on this site. Nobody keys anything in.
- Gross and net flights. Most leagues run both. Net uses SGT handicaps, which update automatically as rounds are posted.
- No minimum field size. Enter one player or forty. Bay count and facility size never penalise you.
- Live standings. Updated as rounds come in, visible to every member all season.
Entry fees
Entry is paid per player, per season, directly through this site. Facilities do not collect or remit on behalf of their members unless they choose to.

Where a player qualifies for both a net and a gross prize, only the higher payout is awarded, in line with USGA prize money rules.
Prize pool
Prize money is funded by entries and grows with the field. The BIG DOG Summer Series purse currently stands at $5,000 and climbing.
- Payouts reach beyond the podium. Paying positions scale with field size and are published before each season starts.
- Regular season and championship pay separately. Each league's payout structure is listed in full on its own page.
- Winners at facility level too. Alongside the overall standings, we recognise the top player at each partner facility.
- Facilities can add to the pot. Any facility contribution is published alongside the entry-funded total.
How the money works
Two separate transactions, and they never mix.
- League entry is paid by the player to Sim Golf Leagues, through this site.
- Bay time is paid by the member to your facility, at whatever rate you set. We never see it, take a cut of it, or have any say in it.
- Software costs are passed through at cost. Players need an SGT account to compete; that cost is shown separately and is not marked up.
- Refunds. If a season is cancelled before week one, entries are refunded in full. Once play begins, entries stay in the pot.
- If a facility leaves mid-season, its players stay eligible and finish the season. No other facility covers a shortfall.
Sponsorship
Season sponsorship puts a brand in front of the full field across every partner facility, all season. Sponsors appear on league pages, in the partner row across the site, and in season communications.
Sponsorship revenue goes into the prize pool rather than the operating budget, so a bigger sponsor roster means bigger payouts for players.
- Season sponsor. Named across a full league season.
- Event sponsor. Named on a single event within a season.
- Facility sponsor. For facilities wanting to back their own members.
